Usage & Care — How to get the best from your supplements
Clear, safe, and practical instructions for dosing, storing, and handling our vitamins, oils and herbal products.
Quick Dosage & First Steps
Daily Vitamins
1 capsule/day with a meal (or follow label). Best taken with breakfast for consistent routine.
Oils (Softgels)
Take with food to improve absorption — especially meals with healthy fats.
Herbal Caps
Follow suggested serving on label. Start with the lowest recommended dose.
Vitamin B12 (capsules)
Take with a meal. If capsules are vegetarian, empty stomach sublingual forms may be different — use label directions. Pregnant or on medication? Consult your healthcare provider.
Flaxseed Oil
Store in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening and use within 60–90 days for best freshness. Do not heat (not for cooking).
Peppermint Oil (enteric-coated)
Enteric-coated softgels are for digestive support — swallow whole with water and do not chew. Avoid topical use unless product explicitly states it is for skincare.
Apple Cider Vinegar (capsules)
Take with food and water to reduce stomach discomfort. If you have GERD or are on medication, please check with your doctor before use.
Omega-3 (Fish / Plant Oils)
Take with a meal containing fats to improve absorption. Store in a cool place. If fish oil, look for freshness date — discard if rancid-smelling.
Storage & Handling
Most capsules and oils last longer when stored away from heat, direct sunlight, and humidity. Use a cupboard, pantry, or fridge as recommended on the label.
Do not store supplements in the bathroom. Moisture accelerates degradation and may spoil capsules and powders.
Oils — Special care
Liquid oils (flaxseed, fish, and some botanical oils) are sensitive to heat, light and oxygen. Quick best-practices:
- Refrigerate after opening when label suggests.
- Use within recommended days after opening (60–90 days for many oils).
- Keep caps tightly closed to limit oxidation.
- Don’t cook with cold-pressed oils (they can turn rancid under heat).
